PRODUCTS IN Umbilical Reelers

Merbak’s reelers are designed to accommodate umbilical products with multiple hydraulic, chemical, electrical and fibre optic power and signal cores.

Merbak’s reelers are bespoke. They can be configured to deploy and recover any length and diameter of umbilical product, with standard build types including IWOCS Umbilical Reeler Packages, Drilling Umbilical Reeler Packages Lubricator Valve Umbilical Reelers, Nitrogen Hose Reelers and Cable Reelers.

Suitable for 51 mm OD by 200 m umbilical with 6 function lines, 10k slip-ring assembly connected in series with needle valves and pressure gauges. All ports ¼” line size.

Suitable for 103 mm OD by 762 m umbilical with a 1” Slip ring Maximum Working Pressure 300 bar, and a 1/2” Slip ring Maximum Working Pressure 410 bar

Suitable for 79 mm OD by 1,830 m umbilical with a 16 pass hydraulic stab plate with clamp assembly connects all sub-sea control lines to the unit. The sub-sea control panel has 6 lines with maximum working pressure of 10k.
